In September 2010, the new Centre professionnel et technique Minto opens at La Cité’s Orléans campus. It operates at full capacity to offer training in the trades to more than 350 students working in seven training programs and five apprenticeship programs. This is the first building to be constructed at La Cité’s new Alphonse-Desjardins campus in Orléans. For College president Lise Bourgeois, the opening of the building is “not the end, but the beginning of a new phase of growth for the post-secondary education institution.”1
