The CFORP

To compensate for the lack of French resources in their schools, Ottawa Francophones establish the Centre franco-ontarien de ressources pédagogiques (CFORP) in 1974. Gisèle Lalonde manages the centre, assisted by a team of five people housed in a classroom. Over time, the CFORP becomes a multi-service education centre serving the Francophone education community across Canada.
