September 25 is Franco-Ontarian Day. Proposed by the Assemblée de la francophonie de l’Ontario, the bill is introduced by the Minister Responsible for Francophone Affairs, Madeleine Meilleur. On April 25, 2010, it is adopted unanimously by the Legislative Assembly.
